Commission Enquiries
VISION FRAMES creates individually commissioned display objects for private clients, founders and businesses. Enquiries can be submitted through the Custom Frames request form or by email, together with a logo, reference material or a description of the intended design.
Each request is assessed individually. An enquiry does not constitute an order or guarantee acceptance. We may decline projects where production, feasibility, rights clearance or the requested content presents concerns.
02 / OPTIONS
Customization Levels
Custom Frames are offered in three levels: Standard (from €249), Enhanced (from €499) and Exclusive (price on request). These are starting points rather than fixed quotations.
Standard focuses on a defined frame format and finish; Enhanced offers additional choices in colors and presentation; Exclusive accommodates larger formats and individually agreed materials or design details. The exact scope is confirmed in the quotation.
03 / DESIGN
Concept & Approval
After reviewing the enquiry, we clarify the requested composition, dimensions, colors, text and materials. A visual concept is prepared for review, and adjustments can be discussed before the design is approved.
Digital previews communicate the intended appearance. They are not guarantees of pixel-identical reproduction: lighting, material finishes and handcrafted production can create minor differences. Any material changes to the agreed design will be discussed with the client.
04 / QUOTATION
Pricing & Order Confirmation
Once the concept is agreed, VISION FRAMES provides an individual quotation based on the approved design, size, materials and production requirements. Any agreed delivery charges and payment terms are communicated before the order is confirmed.
Production begins after the quotation has been accepted and the agreed payment has been received. Alternative payment arrangements may be agreed individually. Submitting a request or reviewing a concept alone does not reserve production capacity or create a confirmed order.
05 / PRODUCTION
Production & Delivery
Custom Frames generally require approximately 3–4 weeks of production following final design approval and fulfillment of the agreed payment conditions. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, unless a binding date is expressly agreed.
Timing depends on design complexity, sourcing and finishing. Selected progress photographs or updates may be shared by email or WhatsApp. Once complete, the frame is prepared for secure shipping with its accompanying certificate and documentation.
06 / MATERIALS
Materials & Individual Finishing
Depending on the agreed level, a commission may include a three-dimensional emblem, real glass, finished frame surfaces, an aluminum composite backing, a sealed rear finish, personalized text and an identification plaque.
Every Custom Frame includes a certificate and a VISION FRAMES signature plaque on the back. Enhanced and Exclusive commissions may also include an optional personalized engraved plaque, in addition to or instead of the signature plaque. Optional wall mounting and further bespoke materials are agreed individually.
07 / RIGHTS
Client Materials & Third-Party Rights
Clients submitting logos, photographs, names, artwork or other protected material must ensure that they have the rights and permissions necessary for the requested use. VISION FRAMES may request evidence of authorization or decline a commission where rights are unclear.
References to third-party brands do not imply sponsorship, licensing, endorsement or an official relationship. Submission or acceptance of a design does not constitute legal clearance by a rights holder. Responsibility and liability remain subject to applicable law.
08 / CHANGES
Changes & Cancellation Requests
Changes are best requested during the concept stage. Once a design and quotation have been approved, changes may affect feasibility, price and production time. Requests made after production has started are reviewed individually and may not be possible.
Cancellation requests should be made as early as possible. Any contractual consequences depend on the order, the stage of work and applicable law; this policy does not impose a blanket exclusion of all cancellations or refunds.
09 / WITHDRAWAL
Withdrawal & Statutory Rights
For consumers, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized, where the applicable legal requirements are met. Whether this exception applies depends on the specific order; merely labeling a product “Custom” is not sufficient.
Any applicable withdrawal information is provided separately. Statutory rights relating to defective goods remain unaffected. Please consult the Withdrawal & Returns Policy for further details.
10 / DOCUMENTATION
Privacy & Project Documentation
Project materials are used to review, design and fulfill the commission. VISION FRAMES may retain relevant records for order administration, documentation and legally required purposes, as explained in its Privacy Policy.
Public portfolio, archive or promotional use of a commissioned design or customer-provided material is subject to the necessary rights and any agreed confidentiality arrangements. Custom Frames are separate from numbered public Collectible Frame editions unless expressly stated otherwise.
