Answers to common questions about our collectible releases, custom commissions, materials and production process.
Selected Collectible Frames may include genuine, previously owned automotive components. Where this applies, it is stated in the relevant product description. Custom Frames generally use individually produced three-dimensional emblems, created and finished for the commission.
Public Collectible Frame releases have a stated edition size and are not restocked as identical editions once closed. Custom Frames are individually commissioned pieces, separate from numbered public releases.
Depending on the design, frames may include real glass, finished frame components, aluminum composite backing, three-dimensional emblems and metal identification details. Exclusive commissions can incorporate additional materials such as leather, velvet or Alcantara by agreement. Exact specifications are confirmed for each product or commission.
Yes. VISION FRAMES objects are prepared, finished and assembled by hand in Germany. Small differences in surface finish or the condition of sourced original components may occur; the agreed product description remains the reference for the finished piece.
We aim to represent each design accurately. Lighting, screen settings, material finishes and manual assembly can produce minor visual differences. Some images may be digital or AI-assisted visualizations; product-specific details take precedence over illustrative imagery.
Frames are designed as finished, sealed compositions rather than interchangeable picture frames. We recommend not opening or modifying the backing. If your frame needs attention, contact us before attempting a repair.
Yes. Custom Frames can be created around a personal logo, company identity, project or other agreed concept. We offer Standard, Enhanced and Exclusive levels, with different options for size, finishes and personalization. Every request is reviewed individually.
Send your request and any available reference materials. We discuss the design, prepare a visual concept and refine it with you. Once the concept and quotation are agreed, production begins after the agreed payment. Selected progress updates can be shared by email or WhatsApp.
Custom Frames generally take approximately 3–4 weeks after final design approval, subject to complexity and material availability. For public releases, the stated production or dispatch estimate on the relevant product page applies. Shipping time is additional unless expressly included in an estimate.
Each frame includes a VISION FRAMES certificate and a signature plaque on the back. Enhanced and Exclusive Custom Frames can include an optional personalized engraved plaque, in addition to or in place of the signature plaque. Public editions may include edition-specific identification and accompanying materials as described on the product page.
No. VISION FRAMES is an independent studio and is not affiliated with or endorsed by referenced manufacturers or trademark owners unless expressly stated. The inclusion of an original component does not make the finished frame an official manufacturer product.
Display indoors on a stable surface or with suitable mounting hardware. Avoid direct heat, excessive moisture, impacts and abrasive cleaning products. Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth for accessible exterior surfaces, and retain any included documentation.
