COLLECTOR INFORMATION
Vision Frames are created as permanent archive objects. The following answers provide clarity on materials, authenticity, commissions, production and the philosophy behind each piece.
Are the elements and emblems authentic?
Public Vision Frames may incorporate genuine elements, emblems or sourced components depending on the concept of the release.
For AUTOMOTIVE_001, the centerpiece is based on an authentic automotive emblem recovered from a real vehicle. Natural micro marks and signs of age are considered part of the object’s character and authenticity.
Custom Vision Frames operate differently.
For private commissions, visual elements and brand marks are individually produced in-house specifically for each piece — including custom finishes, colors and dimensions tailored to the client’s identity and vision.
No two commissions are ever exactly alike.
Is every Vision Frame limited?
Yes.
Every public Vision Frames release is produced once in a strictly limited quantity determined specifically for that edition. Once a release is archived, it will never be produced again.
Edition sizes vary depending on the concept and are always disclosed as part of the release.
Custom Vision Frames exist separately from public releases.
Each commissioned piece is developed exclusively for the individual client and remains entirely one of one — built around their brand, company, project or personal vision.
No restocks.
No reproductions.
No second release.
Can the frame be reopened?
No.
Every Vision Frame is permanently sealed during its final stage of assembly in order to preserve the integrity of the piece exactly as it was intended to exist.
The object is not designed as a conventional interchangeable frame, but as a completed and finite composition — issued once, assembled permanently and preserved in its final form.
After all, why would a perfectly framed vision ever need to be reopened?
This process is part of what defines a Vision Frame as an archive piece rather than a temporary display object.
Are the frames handmade?
Yes.
Every Vision Frame is individually assembled by hand in Germany by the designer himself as part of a carefully controlled finishing and composition process.
From frame preparation and surface finishing to emblem placement, final assembly and sealing, each piece passes through a manually completed production sequence designed to preserve the integrity and presentation of the object.
Custom Vision Frames involve an even more individual process.
Visual elements and logos are specifically produced and finished for each commission according to the client’s requested identity, proportions and color direction.
Rather than mass production, Vision Frames operates through limited assembly and controlled object creation.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
Every Vision Frame is assembled according to a carefully defined production and composition process designed to preserve consistency across each release.
The official photographs represent the final object as accurately as possible, and every effort is made to ensure that each issued piece reflects the same overall presentation, proportions and finish.
Certain sourced elements — such as authentic automotive emblems used in selected releases like AUTOMOTIVE_001 — may naturally carry subtle marks or signs of age as part of their original history and character.
Custom-produced logos and commissioned visual elements are individually manufactured and finished specifically for each piece and therefore do not contain prior wear.
These subtle distinctions are not considered imperfections, but part of what gives certain Vision Frames their individual presence.
What materials are used?
Vision Frames combine a curated selection of materials chosen for their permanence, visual depth and object-like presence.
Depending on the release or commission, pieces may incorporate authentic sourced emblems, individually produced visual elements, real glass, wood, aluminium and stainless steel components assembled into a permanently sealed composition.
Particular attention is placed on surface finish, material contrast and overall presentation in order to preserve the feeling of a refined collector object rather than a conventional display frame.
Each piece also includes individually issued stainless steel identification details as part of its final assembly.
Do you offer custom commissions?
Yes.
Vision Frames accepts a limited number of private commissions for clients seeking a fully individualized piece built around their own brand, company, project, object or personal vision.
The process begins through direct contact via email or Instagram, followed by a private discussion used to define the overall direction, visual identity and intention behind the piece.
Once the concept has been established, an initial 3D design proposal is developed and refined together with the client before physical production begins.
Custom Vision Frames may incorporate individually produced logos, unique color directions, specific typography, personal messaging and fully tailored compositions depending on the nature of the commission.
Throughout the process, clients receive selected progress updates and behind-the-scenes insights as the object moves through its different stages of creation and assembly.
Due to the highly individual nature of the process, only a limited number of commissions are accepted.
No two pieces are ever the same.
Is Vision Frames affiliated with brands such as Mercedes-Benz?
No.
Vision Frames is an independent design and art label and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected to Mercedes-Benz Group AG or any other referenced brand unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Certain public releases may incorporate authentic sourced elements, symbols or references connected to existing automotive, cultural or commercial brands as part of the artistic concept and visual composition of the piece.
For releases such as AUTOMOTIVE_001, referenced names, emblems and design elements are used exclusively within the context of an independent collectible art and design object and do not represent any form of official collaboration, partnership or commercial endorsement.
All trademarks, brand names and referenced identities remain the property of their respective owners.
How long does production and shipping take?
Vision Frames operates through limited release production and controlled assembly rather than continuous mass manufacturing.
Public archive releases generally require approximately 4–6 weeks between release closure and final shipment in order to allow for individual assembly, finishing, inspection and preparation of each piece.
Private commissions and Custom Vision Frames follow a separate timeline depending on the complexity, scale and direction of the project. Most custom pieces are completed within approximately 3–4 weeks following final design approval.
The production rhythm of Vision Frames is intentionally selective and detail-focused.
Certain objects simply require the time they deserve.
What is included with a Vision Frame?
Each Vision Frame is delivered as a complete archive object accompanied by its individually issued supporting elements.
Public releases include:
- — The permanently sealed Vision Frame
- — An official certificate card corresponding to the numbered stainless steel identification plaque attached to the piece
- — A personal message from the designer presented as an individual manifestation card
- — Protective dust-free fabric storage packaging
- — Secure premium shipping protection for international transport
Custom Vision Frames follow the same philosophy while incorporating individually named identification details specific to the commissioned piece.
Every element surrounding the object is designed to feel intentional, preserved and complete.
How should a Vision Frame be displayed?
A Vision Frame is intended to exist wherever its presence feels most meaningful to its owner.
For some, that may be a private office, studio or personal space.
For others, it may become part of a more public environment where the object can be experienced, recognized and understood by others.
Particularly in the case of Custom Vision Frames, each piece reflects a personal vision, identity, company, brand or philosophy chosen by the client themselves.
The object therefore becomes more than a display piece — it becomes a visible statement of what its owner has created, built or chosen to stand behind.
Whether presented privately or publicly, every Vision Frame is designed to exist with intention.
Why does Vision Frames exist?
Vision Frames was created from the idea that certain visions deserve more than temporary attention.
The objects, brands, companies and identities people dedicate themselves to often represent years of ambition, discipline, risk and personal belief. Vision Frames exists to preserve fragments of that vision in a form designed to feel permanent, intentional and worthy of being displayed.
Public releases reflect cultural symbols, design languages and ideas chosen to resonate with the individuals who connect themselves to them.
Custom Vision Frames take this concept further by transforming a client’s own company, brand, project or personal vision into a singular sealed collector object created specifically around their identity.
A Vision Frame is not intended to function as decoration alone.
It exists to create presence.
To hold meaning.
To reflect what its owner has chosen to build, pursue or stand behind.
Each piece is designed to feel lasting, personal and unapologetically significant.
